Can a chiropractor fix a cracked knee? How Chiropractors Help with Knee Cracking and Pain Relief

Chiropractic Knee Relief: How Chiropractors Help with Knee Pain

Experiencing knee pain can significantly impact your quality of life. Whether it’s caused by an injury, a chronic condition, or other underlying issues, finding relief is crucial. One avenue to consider is chiropractic care for knee pain, which can provide non-invasive and holistic approaches to alleviate discomfort and improve mobility.

What Is Chiropractic Care for Knee Pain?

Chiropractic care for knee pain involves a range of non-surgical treatment methods aimed at addressing the underlying issues contributing to knee discomfort. Chiropractors use various techniques to address knee pain, often focusing on the associated joint and surrounding structures.

Understanding Chiropractic Treatment Methods for Knee Pain

Chiropractors utilise an array of treatment methods for knee pain, including spinal adjustments, soft tissue therapy, and rehabilitative exercises. These approaches aim to improve the functionality of the knee joint and reduce pain.

Benefits of Chiropractic Care for Knee Pain Relief

Chiropractic care offers numerous benefits for individuals seeking relief from knee pain. These may include improved joint mobility, reduced inflammation, and the promotion of natural healing processes without reliance on medication or invasive procedures.

Chiropractic Adjustment for Knee Pain: What to Expect

During a chiropractic adjustment for knee pain, the chiropractor may target specific areas around the knee joint to alleviate discomfort and improve overall function. This can lead to enhanced range of motion and decreased pain levels.

Common Causes of Knee Pain

Knee pain can stem from various underlying causes, encompassing a wide spectrum of conditions. It’s essential to understand the root of the discomfort to determine the most effective course of treatment.

Exploring Various Types of Knee Pain

Knee pain can manifest in different forms, including acute and chronic pain, as well as pain related to specific conditions such as osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, and injuries to the ligaments or other structures around the knee joint.

Identifying Symptoms Associated with Knee Pain

Symptoms of knee pain may include swelling, stiffness, and a reduced range of motion. Additionally, pain in the knee may also result in referred pain to other areas, such as the back or lower extremities.

Role of Chiropractors in Diagnosing Knee Pain Causes

Chiropractors are adept at diagnosing the root causes of knee pain through comprehensive evaluations, which may include physical assessments, medical history reviews, and, in some cases, diagnostic imaging to better understand the extent of the issue.f

Diagnosing Knee-Related Issues: A Healing Hands Chiropractic Approach

At Healing Hands Chiropractic, our approach to diagnosing knee-related issues is centred on our unique 10-step measurement-based chiropractic assessment process. This evaluation is one of the UK’s most thorough in the field and forms the cornerstone of our commitment to providing you with accurate, holistic, and effective care.

Comprehensive Assessment and Evaluation

The first step in diagnosing knee-related issues is a comprehensive assessment. We evaluate your past medical history, your lifestyle, and your overall physical health. This process allows us to understand you as a whole, taking into account not just your knee issues but also how they may be interconnected with your overall health and well-being.

Use of Advanced Diagnostic Technologies

Our chiropractic assessment employs advanced technologies such as EMG spinal muscle scans and nerve function scans. Although knee issues might seem unrelated to the spine, your body is a complex network of interconnected systems, and sometimes knee pain can be a reflection of issues elsewhere.

Detailed Postural Analysis

A detailed postural analysis forms a central part of our examination process. Misalignments in posture often contribute to or exacerbate knee-related issues. Our trained chiropractors can identify these misalignments, which can help us understand the root cause of your knee pain better.

Comprehensive Treatment Plan

Based on our findings from the comprehensive measurement-based chiropractic assessment, we developed a personalised treatment plan. This plan aims to alleviate your immediate knee discomfort while also tackling the root causes of your knee issues, providing long-lasting relief.

At Healing Hands Chiropractic, we believe in delivering measurable results. Our approach enables us to track your progress over time, providing tangible evidence of your improvement and allowing us to adjust the treatment plan when necessary.

Through our comprehensive, measurement-based approach, we aim not just to treat your knee pain but also to enhance your overall health and mobility. We’re more than just care providers; we’re your partners in your journey to a healthier, pain-free life.

Healing Hands Chiropractic Client Reviews that Mention Knee-Related Issues

I feel so much better, I had upper back discomfort, stiff knees and within a few sessions I felt a drastic improvement and also my knees were more flexible.

When I attended my first appointment, I was a bit sceptical that anything could be done. Three treatments later, and I’m feeling pain-free, and I feel so much better. I had upper back discomfort and stiff knees, but within a few sessions, I felt a drastic improvement, and my knees were also more flexible. I highly recommend Healing Hands Chiropractic if you have back, body, neck ache pain, etc.; they are very professional and friendly. Best regards, Halim

I have no feeling in my feet all the way up to my knees as they are numb.

About six months ago, I was diagnosed with vasculitis. It has been a trying time for me as I tried to go about my life as normally as I could. I have no feeling in my feet all the way up to my knees, as they are numb. The hospital has assured me that the feeling should return within 2 to 3 years. Unfortunately, I had to give up my job as a teacher, leave my flat, and move back in with my parents while I took the time necessary to recover, which the hospital has informed me will take between two and three years. The worst thing that came with this diagnosis was that my right hand, my dominant hand that I used to write and type with, has lost its function. I was invited by a friend one day in September to go with her and meet with Dr. Sanvir just to see, on the off chance, if you could help me with my right hand, which initially was bent and stuck to the right side of my body. I have now had 12 sessions in phase one with Dr. Sanvir, and my right hand is coming on in leaps and bounds. I am now able to do simple tasks such as open the toothpaste bottle, open a deodorant bottle, open my cream bottle, and have recently written the word hello on a piece of paper that is legible. My arm and hand were longer stuck to the side of me. They are being used as much as my left hand, and it’s all thanks to healing hands. I look forward to the next two faces with Dr. Sanvir and Healing Hands and being able to return to work sooner than three years. My confidence has returned, and I am a happier and brighter person.

would keep it going even though I have to travel two hours to get to Richmond as I can walk upright and feel no pain in my wearing knees and hips.

Dr. Sanvir has the most gentle manner and voice. He is thorough and caring. I have been having my treatment now for more than a year and am on a top-up and a much less frequent programme. I would keep it going even though I have to travel two hours to get to Richmond, as I can walk upright and feel no pain in my knees and hips. My back hasn’t felt so pain-free in a long time.
Oh! How can I forget the lovely ladies at the reception? All of them are so warm, welcoming, and thorough. Thank you to Healing Hands for all the good work.

My knee feels so much better that I am back to cycling again without feeling the need to cut my leg off at the knee to stop the pain.

I suffer from thunderclap migraines, which often result in falls. In the last decade, I have caused more damage to myself than I can catalogue. The damage to my shoulder, back, and knees became unbearable over time, and I wasn’t sleeping due to the pain. A video online had me looking for a chiropractor. Healing Hands had the best reviews, and I gave them a call. I discovered I had far more problems than I knew. I am aware of the fused disc in my lower back. I had no idea that, due to that, I was getting sciatica. I also had a misaligned spine, which I could see clearly on the x-ray.
Three months later, my posture has vastly improved. My knee feels so much better that I am back to cycling again without feeling the need to cut my leg off at the knee to stop the pain. I roll over in my sleep without waking up to excruciating pain in my shoulder. Most surprising, though I still get migraines, the length of which I am incapacitated has reduced. Above all else, I am sleeping well without the back pain. Thank you, Dr. Chintan.

Weak knees, pinched nerves, fragile elbow and more.

Healing Hands Chiropractic in London has been an amazing experience for me. I’ve been training in MMA and boxing for a few years and have naturally built a lot of tightness due to the rigorous training. Weak knees, pinched nerves, fragile elbows, and more. After my first round of treatment, I forgot these were even an issue in the first place. Dr. Sanvir has been really supportive and informative throughout the whole process. A master in his field. Highly recommend.

Personal experience with this practice has RESOLVED my old aches and pains associated with c-spine injuries, shoulder, hip, and knee issues.

I came across Healing Hands quite by accident, but I feel like it was the universe rewarding me for something. The doctors and staff at this practice are not only highly competent, friendly, and compassionate, but they are also secret weapons. You’ll find none of the old-school quack chiropractics you’re wary of, but instead your mind will be put at ease with your first session being a complex, science-based evaluation to investigate your particular issues. Once you have been thoroughly briefed, a treatment plan is proposed. My personal experience with this practice has resolved my old aches and pains associated with c-spine injuries, shoulder, hip, and knee issues. The most impressive to me? I experienced an unexpected improvement in my mental health when, after that very first adjustment in my second session, I felt a wave of electricity from the base of my skull all the way to my toes and fingertips. As Dr. Sanvir explained, it was the feeling of the connection between mind and body being re-established. Do yourself a favour.
